Here is a soy mince recipe that you will enjoy especially with your rice dishes. It can also be used as a filling for your veggie samosas and pies. It tastes just like meat and is a great meat substitute. The brand I used here is from Seba foods and it is called SoyJoy. You can use any other brand but this is definitely one of the best. It has great aroma and taste.
How to cook Soy Mince
Ingredients
1 pack of SoyJoy mince
1 small onion
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 medium carrot
Green pepper
Knorr Brown onion soup thickener
Method
Mix the SoyJoy mince in a pot with 1 cup of water and a tablespoon of cooking oil
Bring to a boil while stirring continuously and let it simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
Add tomato paste, green pepper, onions(crushed) and steamed carrots
Then add 2 tablespoons of Knorr Brown onion soup in a bit of water and add to the mixture.
Stir continuously and simmer for 5 more minutes
Serve with pasta , rice potatoes and bread.
